Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE) CEO Shawn Conway has left the company to lead Far Niente Wine Estates. Conway spent two and a half years at SWME after being hired in March of 2023.
“Over the past two and a half years, Shawn has played a pivotal role in guiding the company through a significant transformation – refining and refocusing our acclaimed wine portfolio and strengthening Ste. Michelle’s deep roots in the Pacific Northwest,” SMWE said in a statement to Northwest Wine Report. “We thank him for his leadership and contributions during this important period.”
